There are so many stars in this granola that it was hard to know which one to highlight. I have been told it is the best granola ever and that I should start a business with it!
The warmth of the cinnamon mixed with the sweetness of the maple syrup was always going to be a winner. But the toasted coconut flakes give this granola a lovely bite and texture. The key is to buy the really big flakes, not the little shreds. But perhaps the most interesting feature in this granola are the nutty sesame seeds. I like to use a mixture of black and white just for added interest.
As well as these 3 key players, this granola also benefits from roasted hazelnuts, almonds and a good scattering of salt which hits the salty/sweet pleasure
zone in full force!
