A great snack for either adults and kids - plain old popcorn gets a makeover with a drizzle of sesame oil and finely chopped seaweed (nori sushi wrap).
Serves: 6
  • 2 Nori Seaweed Sheets
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • ¾ Cup Popping Corn Kernels
  • 3 tsp Sesame Oil
  1. Place the nori, sesame seeds, salt and sugar in a blender. Whizz on high for a few seconds until a crumb texture is achieved. Set aside.
  2. In a small heavy duty saucepan, melt the coconut oil over medium heat. Test to see if hot enough with one kernel. When it pops, add the rest of the kernels. Cover. It is finished when the pops are slowing down to 1 every ⅔ seconds. Take off the heat.
  3. Add the popcorn to a large bowl and drizzle all over with the sesame oil in a small stream. Sprinkle over the seaweed flakes and mix well with your hands until all the popcorn is coated.
Make it spicy by sprinkling on some Togarashi!
